An international conference on the development of financial markets was held in Ashgabat

The international scientific and practical conference “Modern trends in the development of financial markets” was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management. This was reported by the online publication Centralasia.news. The forum participants included representatives of international financial organizations, economists, specialists from research centers, industry ministries and stock exchanges, teachers of specialized universities from Russia, China, Turkey, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Romania. During the conference, issues related to the influence of financial markets on investment activity and economic development and the role of banks in these processes were discussed. Attention was paid to the development of the securities market and current issues of digitalization of this area. The development of the banking sector in the context of digitalization and globalization and investing in human development were also discussed.
