Turkmenistan ready to consider investment proposals from foreign partners in the transit and transport sector

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mammethan Chakiyev, delivered remarks at the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Turkmentel-2025.” He announced Turkmenistan’s readiness to consider specific investment proposals from foreign partners. Chakiyev highlighted the transit and transport potential of Turkmenistan. Owing to its advantageous geo-economic location, the country is carrying out large-scale construction of new transport and transit infrastructure along the East–West and North–South corridors. These projects open up significant opportunities for strengthening international trade and economic cooperation across the Eurasian region. Furthermore, as part of the consistent development of the digital economy — which includes the introduction of the E-Government system and the expansion of artificial intelligence and cloud technology capabilities — Turkmenistan continues to prioritize the training of highly qualified professionals and the integration of advanced technological solutions into the national communications system.
