A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in joint research activities on hydrogen energy was signed

Recently, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in joint research and development in hydrogen energy was signed between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and one of the leading higher educational institutions of Japan, the University of Tsukuba. This is of particular importance for the continuous improvement of the education system in Turkmenistan in accordance with world standards and for increasing the enthusiasm of young people for science. This important event was held at a high organizational level through a digital system. The Memorandum in question will give a new impetus to the development of cooperation in the field of education between Turkmenistan and Japan. Its main goal is to conduct joint research and development in such a promising and important field as hydrogen energy, as well as to develop environmentally friendly, sustainable energy technologies. During the event, the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan J. Gurbangeldiev and the President of the University of Tsukuba Professor Kyosuke Nagata, emphasized that cooperation in the field of science, education, and technology is of great importance not only for the two countries, but also for the development of the world. The event, which was held online, was also attended by Professor Osamu Ohneda, Vice President for International Relations of the University of Tsukuba, and Professor Toshinobu Usuyama, Dean and Executive Director of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences. In recent years, cooperation in the field of education between Turkmenistan and Japan has been gaining momentum. The Japanese language is taught in a number of higher educational institutions and specialized secondary schools in our country, and young people's interest in it is growing. In addition, the regular holding of joint scientific and practical forums and training courses is a clear indication of the further strengthening of cooperation. The new Memorandum signed paves the way not only for expanding cooperation between the two countries, but also for developing international relations in the field of science, and for young scientists and students to master modern practices.
