A Telephone Conversation Took Place Between the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
On March 31, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian. Exchanging greetings, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Masoud Pezeshkian conveyed their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to each other and to the brotherly peoples of both countries on the occasion of the sacred holiday of Oraza Bayram. The President of Iran, extending his best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, emphasized the great importance Iran places on fostering multifaceted cooperation with Turkmenistan. Taking the opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan conveyed greetings and warm holiday wishes from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, to President Masoud Pezeshkian. The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the current high level of relations between Turkmenistan and Iran, which are based on principles of equality, good neighborliness, and mutual respect. During the conversation, it was noted that the fraternal ties between the two countries continue to develop dynamically across various fields, including political and diplomatic, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s commitment to further strengthening friendly and brotherly relations across a broad range of issues in the interests of the Turkmen and Iranian peoples. During the meeting, the head of state extended an invitation to President Masoud Pezeshkian to visit Turkmenistan. In response, the Iranian President invited the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and the President of Turkmenistan to visit Iran at a convenient time. At the conclusion of the conversation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Masoud Pezeshkian wished each other good health, happiness, and success in their responsible state activities, while also extending their wishes for peace, prosperity, and well-being to the brotherly peoples of Turkmenistan and Iran.
