The Eighth Meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation to Be Held
On January 31, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, during which a number of priority issues concerning state affairs were discussed. During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Ataguliyev reported on the preparations for the upcoming eighth meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, scheduled for February 19–20 of this year. As noted, the agenda of the meeting will include discussions on the further development of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries in the trade and economic sectors, as well as in the cultural and humanitarian spheres. To enhance the effectiveness of the Turkmen-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission, a relevant proposal was submitted for the consideration of the head of state. After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan maintains a multidimensional partnership with the Republic of Turkey, and that bilateral trade and economic relations are developing effectively. Approving the proposal on the composition of the Turkmen delegation to the Turkmen-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take the necessary measures.
