The customs service of Turkmenistan discussed the third stage of development of the digital economy
The other day, a meeting was held between the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the regional coordinator of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Dmitry Godunov. This was reported on the website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. As noted, within the framework of the first and second stages of the Concept of Turkmenistan for the development of the digital economy in 2019-2025, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has successfully implemented the 1st stage, electronic declaration of ASYCUDA, and is effectively working on the 2nd stage of digitalization - the development of a Single Window for Export -import operations. In accordance with the third stage of development of the digital economy of Turkmenistan, it is proposed to introduce the third phase of digitalization of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. In this regard, during the meeting the parties discussed proposals developed by UNCTAD for the implementation of the third stage of digitalization of customs authorities in Turkmenistan.
