"Ahal" reached the semi-finals of the Turkmenistan Cup

On Sunday, 8 September, "Ahal" and "Kopetdag" met in the return match of the Turkmenistan Cup quarterfinals. The meeting ended in a draw - 3:3. Kopetdag player Suleiman Mirzoev scored the first goal of the game in the 7th minute.  In the 34th minute Dayanch Meredov equalised the score in the match.  Meylis Diniev, a forward of "Ahal", put his team ahead in the 38th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Shiri Annaev restored the balance in the score by scoring from the penalty spot. In the 77th minute, Dzhumaguly Dzhumaev put Kopetdag ahead again.  The final score was set by Ahal forward Meylis Diniev, who scored in the 104th minute of the match. In the first quarter-final match, "Ahal" defeated its rival 2:1 at home. Thus, the team of the "Turkmennebitonumleri" Main Department reached the semi-finals of the Turkmen Cup. In the next stage of the tournament "Ahal" will face "Altyn Asyr" in a two-match confrontation.
