Scientific and practical conferences on digital and green economy to be held in Ashgabat

On 6 September, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the digital system, where a number of issues of state life were considered. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimiradov reported on the ongoing preparations for the scientific and practical conference "Digital and “green” economy - a factor in ensuring sustainable economic growth". As noted, the forum will be organised by the Ministry of Finance and Economy on 20 September this year in accordance with the ‘List of exhibitions, fairs, conferences and festivals to be held in 2024 by ministries and sectoral departments’ approved by the President of Turkmenistan. Among the issues discussed are the development of industries, financial, economic and monetary policy, labour relations, standardization, measures taken to create a digital and "green" economy, digitalization of the social security sphere, and others. After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to properly prepare for the scientific and practical conference devoted to the country's economic development. The main task of the forum is to widely cover the large-scale activities being carried out in Turkmenistan aimed at the socio-economic development of the sovereign country, the head of state stressed and addressed relevant instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
