Arkadag Smart City is honoured with 3 awards at the World Smart City Expo

At the award ceremony of the World Smart City Expo held on 4 September in Goyang, Republic of Korea, the smart city of Arkadag was awarded three prizes at once.  The awards of the prestigious exhibition were given to foreign and domestic cities and companies that distinguished themselves among exhibitors in various fields. It should be especially noted that the city of Arkadag was the first among the participants of the event to receive awards.  The Turkmen side was presented with the Smart City Excellence Award, as well as the awards in the nominations "Foreign Smart City Award" and "For Great Contribution to the World Smart City Expo 2024" (WSCE 2024 Contribution Award), awarded only to the city of Arkadag. The head of the Turkmen delegation D. Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan, made a speech of gratitude at the award ceremony. Noting that the Korean side held the World Smart City Expo at a high organisational level, he stressed that the technologies and systems of smart cities presented at the World Smart City Expo 2024 reflected the most advanced trends that meet the requirements of today and tomorrow. In this context, the achievements of the participating smart city, Arkadag, were highly appreciated.  Expressing gratitude for the awards, the head of the Turkmen delegation stressed that they were a recognition of the successes achieved in the sphere of national urban development under the leadership of Arkadag Hero and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
