Turkmen-Uzbek relations are developing

A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Energy Minister J. Mirzamakhmudov held a number of meetings in the capital of Turkmenistan. During the meetings, the sides discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation between Ashgabat and Tashkent in the fuel and energy sector. At present, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are endeavouring to bring to a qualitatively new level the partnership based on the principles of openness and mutual trust, as well as meeting the national interests of each side. The sides also noted that today's talks will play an important role in the further development of bilateral relations. Source: State News Agency
