Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left on a working visit to Iran

Today, 28 August, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left on a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the morning, officials saw off the Hero-Arkadag at the capital's International Airport. As it is known, all-round strengthening of fruitful cooperation with the countries of the world and, first of all, with the nearest neighbours, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, is one of the priority directions of the foreign policy course of Turkmenistan laid down by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and now successfully implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The long-term bilateral partnership encompasses key areas and meets the national interests of both countries. The history of Turkmen-Iranian relations going back to the depths of centuries has found a new content at the present stage. Source: State News Agency
