Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mauritius has started his work in Turkmenistan

Speaker of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mauritius to our country Mr Heswar Janke. On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the Speaker of the National Parliament congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high diplomatic post, wishing him success in the development of friendly relations. In turn, thanking for the good wishes and warm welcome on the Turkmen land, the diplomat conveyed warm words of greetings from the President of the Republic of Mauritius, who wished the President of Turkmenistan good health, peace and well-being to the people of the friendly country. The Ambassador stressed that it is a great honour for him to represent his country in Turkmenistan, which has gained high international prestige due to its peace-loving course and positive initiatives. During the meeting, the plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Mauritius was briefed in detail on the main directions of the domestic and foreign policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan, as well as the activities of the Turkmen Parliament in the context of the ongoing large-scale reforms. At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mauritius to our country Mr. Heswar Janke assured that on his part he would make every effort to develop friendly relations and fruitful interstate dialogue.
