Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On 27 August, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation. Having cordially greeted each other, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction that friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are strengthening. In the course of the conversation, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of interstate cooperation in trade-economic and fuel-energy spheres. Emphasis was placed on the importance of making full use of the transport and transit potential of the two countries. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that at present the partnership between our countries has reached a qualitatively new level. Taking the opportunity, Hero Arkadag conveyed warm words of greetings from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Uzbek leader. Thanking for the kind words, the leader of the friendly country, in turn, conveyed his best wishes to the Turkmen leader. In continuation of the telephone conversation, the sides discussed issues related to the implementation of previously reached agreements and the possibility of implementing joint projects in the future. At the end of the conversation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished each other good health, successes in responsible activities, and prosperity and well-being to the fraternal peoples of the two friendly countries.
