A meeting of the Group of Young Parliamentarians of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took place

On July 14, 2024, a meeting of the Group of Young Parliamentarians of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan was held, during which issues related to the implementation of state youth policy in the new historical period, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the protection of the rights and freedoms of young citizens of our country, ensuring their social security, the development of youth parliamentarism in Turkmenistan, as well as issues related to the role of youth in the system of state administration, were discussed. Speakers at the meeting of the Group of Young Parliamentarians of the Mejlis proudly noted that the head of the Turkmen state attaches special importance to the spiritual, cultural, and physical development of our youth, the work on raising patriotic generations, creating all conditions for obtaining a modern education and their active participation in public life, the development of personal qualities, and the formation of healthy lifestyle norms. The state youth policy of our country represents a system of socio-economic, political, organizational, and legal measures aimed at realizing the rights, freedoms, and support of young citizens of Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan, creating important state guarantees to ensure the recognition of youth in society, as well as the necessary conditions for youth in the areas of rights, economy, social security, and organizational issues, the development of youth social associations and their support. At the initiative of Hero Arkadag, a national legislative system has been created in our powerful state, guaranteeing the rights and social security of youth. Speakers at the meeting noted that these issues are reflected in the Labor and Family Codes of Turkmenistan, the Code of Turkmenistan on Social Protection of the Population, the laws of Turkmenistan "On State Youth Policy", "On Education", "On Culture", "On State Scientific and Technical Policy", "On Scientific and Technological Parks", "On Physical Culture and Sports", "On the Protection of Citizens' Health", and dozens of other laws of Turkmenistan. The participants of the meeting expressed their gratitude to the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Hero Arkadag, for efforts to establish innovative working methods in the field of cooperation in the mutual exchange of experience among young parliamentarians. The participants also assured that they will continue to work comprehensively to widely promote the domestic and foreign policy implemented under the leadership of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan within the country and internationally, to improve national legislation in ensuring large-scale reforms implemented through the far-sighted policy of the President of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, and also sincerely wished the President of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, health and great success in achieving the set goals.
