Turkmenistan and Astrakhan reviewed personnel training for maritime transport

Consul of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation Gadam Ilamanov met with the head of the Caspian Institute of Maritime and River Transport (KIMRT) named after Admiral General F.M. Apraksin Olga Kartashova. Astrakhan Region Foreign Minister Vladimir Golovkov also took part in the meeting. According to the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan, special attention was paid to the training of specialists for maritime and river transport of Turkmenistan on the basis of KIMRT. The parties exchanged views on expanding co-operation in higher and secondary education, as well as increasing the number of Turkmen students at the Caspian Institute.
